i dont see how the hell you could not be able to make up your mind over the two cars...its not even a comparison. the mazda is slower, and it has a turbo(i think) correct me if im wrong...anyways i would go with the rsx all day long!

the mazda does have more horsepower if you get the 3L V6 version (219hp) without a turbo, but its a four-door, will probably turn out to be heavier than the rsx, and like you said will probably have a limited amount of aftermarket parts. Plus, it strikes me as a family car. If I were you, if you can hold off buying a car for a year or two, I would save my money and buy the mazda RX-8 (250hp rotary engine) next year, or if you really want a crazy fast car, wait until 2004 and get the new nissan skyline GT-R R35 (which is looking like it will be sold in America) with 400hp, all wheel drive, and a deployable spoiler. The GT-R will be between $40,000-$60,000. So if you can save some extra dough and wait some time go for the the GT-R (the engine is a derivative from the nissan R390 race car!). Otherwise, if you can't wait the rsx is your best bet.
