I'm guessing the steering tightening up was a result from the stalled engine, and nothing more sinister than that.

Now, what stalls that engine? If it runs then stalls, I'm going to guess that it's losing fuel pressure. Possibly a bad fuel pump.

Are you seeing a MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) as well?

Unless I'm reading you wrong?
Are you saying YOU turned of the car, and in didn't stall on it's own?

You might want to remove the Power Steering Belt, then try to turn the Power Steering Pump by hand to see if it's frozen, or binding.

There is no sensor lights on.............It only starts up when given a jump and then it cuts right off like in 10 seconds....................

Well, first things first.
Remove the S Belt and spin all the pulley's to see if any are binding or frozen.

If you can't do this kind of work yourself, you're at the mercy of a mechanic friend or a repair shop.
