71 Duster Salvage...

This is an old model I did back about 8-9 years ago I think. It was when I started building again, but this was the lone build, then I took off for 7 -8 years again..lol.

I found it in my attic in a box In the condition of the first 2 pics. Not long after I built it, the rear spoiler fell off (great glue job by me huh?) and was lost (wife threw it out, but denies it, haahaa).

So I decided to rework this one and see what it would look like. Stripped it with Pine-Sol, redid all the bumpers with BMF along with the trim. Fixed the spoiler issue. Went for a Red Primer and a semi-gloss black hood. I am happy with the results. Looks so much better than that nasty green...
No under the hood pics yet, but I will try to get one today.

Thanks for looking. Bruce

I dig, that is a nice rebuild. I almost think that a monotone body would look better in that color, but what you did is not bad at all. The Viper rims look good by the way. I always loved the GTS wheels on the late 90's Viper. Makes for a great model!

is that the kit with the viper motor? I love the paint job. I don't care for the viper wheels, but none the less, it looks great! The hood looks as though it could have been a reproduction part that has yet to be painted (if it were 1:1).

That's a really neat matte paint job, it looks like a great budget build.
