Speed Sensor

Hi i have a 94 caprice i was woundering where on the car can i find the speed sensor and what i have to remove and where to locate the sensor.can anybody help me with this problem. thanks

I believe on your car, that it mounts to the transmission tailshaft (where the speedometer cable used to go on older cars).

Hi i have a 94 caprice i was woundering where on the car can i find the speed sensor and what i have to remove and where to locate the sensor.can anybody help me with this problem. thanks I have the same car and couldn't find it at the tail of the transmission because of a cover plate to protect the transmission. My car is stuck in first gear and I figured it might be the speed sensor. If i find it i will let you know.
