91 PA - Several questions

I have a 1991 Park Avenue Ultra (non-supercharged). Having several issues with it:
1) The climate control, in any mode, (A/C, heat, econ) seems to be blowing little air out. There is air coming, but it seems to be a disproportionate amount compared to other cars.
2) When using the climate control in A/C and especially economy modes causes a stale water smell to come out of the vents.
3) There is an occasional loud metallic bang when shifting between gears. This only seems to happen if you shift between drive and reverse and don't wait 1-2 seconds before taking your foot off the brake.
4) When at a stop or red light, if I accelerate too fast (I'm not flooring the gas pedal here) the car jerks forward and then drives normally. This doesn't seem to occur if you accelerate very very slowly.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am also very curious as to why this happens. Any help?

Regarding questions 3 and 4, have your motor and transmission mounts checked.

I agree with LOEKEE75- That same type of clunk would happen when I would accelerate (I thought my tranny was going out!) But it turned out I had a bad motor mount. My hubby replaced cheaply himself, all he needed was a jack with a 4X4 piece of wood on it to push the motor up to install the new motor mount. And the motor mounts were dirt cheap! But in my experience it does make that clunk sound or feel when accelerating, as well as when it down shifts into lowest gear before stopping. I would definately check that out!
