Relationship advice. Don't worry it's not sappy

First things first! I could have SWORN there was a relationship forum, but since I've been dormant for so long I could be wrong... and I couldn't find it.

Let me be clear here. I don't want any "more fish in the sea", there's more out there, forget her shit. It's not like It's a huge deal. I just figure it wouldn't hurt to ask you guys opinion of what i might say, if i wanted to try for a save.

Alright, basically, I met a girl we talked for a while and we seemed to get along great. Liked all the same junk. I asked her on a date and i thought it went good, called her a couple days afterwords, got nothin. Then my phone went MIA. Shot her a quick e-mail saying I had fun and left it at that. She sent me one back a few days later basically saying sorry it seemed like we were too much alike. (can provide detail as needed?)


I figure, if I get nowhere it won't kill me. But you miss 100% of the shots you don't take, so might as well try for a recovery. It may be feasable. Not like it'll hurt anything. Only problem is I don't know what to say.

So, suggestions please!

It can go 2 ways I think, either A, if you 2 got together it would get boring fast because you like all the same things or B, you 2 like all of the same things and it goes perfectly.

As to getting her on a 2nd date will be tough because it seems like she doesnt want to be involved. She basically cut every possibility but you could try to say something like "that might not be a bad thing" or something like you understand and might want to show her your different or something.
