Transmission

I have 94 gmc and just replaced my 4l60e transmission and it is still giving me problems. Once the engine is warmed up it will not shift. It fells like it is staying in 3rd gear. We replaced the throttle position sensor and that did not help. can someone please help!!!!!!!!:banghead:

Welcome to AF, who did the trans?, I'd ask for a recheck here, some 94's used the 4l60e, this can be scanned for trans functions for a better diagnosis.

Me and My father-in-law did it! When you start the truck it's fine, but once it warms up it starts to not shift.

did you flush the cooler before installing new trans....

You should check the voltage at the harness at the tranny. A bad ignition switch can cause low voltage at the tranny and it will not shift right (or at all).
