How do you get to the front turn signal lamps (blinkers) on the 97/98 style Taurus? I have one that has water inside the housing. It almsot looks like you have to remove the whole front of the car. That cannot be correct. Right?

Hey ThomM,
As old as this thread is, you've probably solved your problem by now. But I found the answer in these forums. There's 3 small bolts, and one larger bolt. Remove the 3 small ones, (one close to the front, two near the back all have normal "bolt" heads. DO NOT remove the "hex" heads as those are alignment screws!!). Then loosen the holding bolt, it's a long silver bolt that's vertical. And in literally 20 seconds you have removed the whole assembly and can access the bulbs. I know because I just changed both in about 3 minutes, about 10 minutes ago. Hope this helps.
