Okay, so like the subject says, I'M AN IDIOT!!!!! So today, i was bored with my friend and i decide to do a couple donuts, so i'm in a parking lot, pull the handbrake, turn the wheel to the right, and drop it from 4 grand and WHOO HOO, donuts, then i hear CLICK, CLICK, CLICK, SQEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLL.......... Shit....... some of you may know about my last accident, and that i need a new rack and pinion, I still havent fixed that...... So i jack my car up with my friend, and we can't really see the rack and pinion, but we know that we gotta change that..... and every time i am driving and i turn the wheel more than one turn to either the left or right, it seams like the brake rotor is touching something on the right wheel........ i was listening for clicks, but i only heard one click, and never heard it again...... so its not the cv boot, and there was no grease on the boot or anything, so that seams okay..... but back to this brake thing.... umm..... what do you guys think? is it the brakes? or is it jsut my rack and pinion making that noise, its only when i'm turning, and when its more than one full turn of the wheel either one way or the other........ HELP!!!!

Damn, sorry. Just trying to lighten the mood.

But I seriously doubt it is something off the brake rubbing on the wheel, since the turn at the same time.

But you can jack the front of the car up, take the tire off, then accelerate slowly, and turn the wheel.

I had a similar proble, in my G20, but it was the wheel bearing.

So i said, Fuck it, and replace both axles, and while i'm at it, gimmie a new rack and pinion....... its gonna come out to 700 beans! holy shit is right............ this car costs so much money....... this was my engine swap money....... i was saving up..... i could have gotten B series Axles, but i needed more money for the damn LS engine......

dude replace the axles yourself it's easy and from the yard you can get axles for like $50 a piece. i don't know what it's like to replace the rack and pinion, but you might be able to do that yourself too.

Hey, i would have done it myself, but i have floor jacks that lift the car up about a foot, its not much, so it would be abitch and a half to do the rack and the axles...

Okay, update, everything is fixed, and runs great! i also got my short throw shifter installed, and holy shit, its fukin awsome!!!!
