AC/Heater control blackout, fuse blowing

I have a 1990 Chevy truck, 5.7L. Having an issue with the AC electrical system. When I turn the AC on, it's blowing the AC/Heater fuse and knocking out my controls. My AC wasn't working quite right before this, I found that when I wiggled the wires at the switch on the accumulator, it would switch in and out. While procrastinating changing the switch out, this occurred. I tried putting a new fuse in and it would blow every time I hit the AC. So I went ahead and changed the switch on the accumulator, as well as the actual plug, since that seemed pretty loose as well. Unfortunately, I still am blowing fuses, and this occurs only when I have that plug connected to the switch on the accumulator. All the wires I can see look like they're ok, nothing bare that I've noticed. Any ideas?

Check your compressor clutch.

If I disconnect the wires at the compressor, and leave the connector on the accumulator switch in, it will still blow the fuse. Anyone know where I can find a good diagram of this circuit online? My Chilton either doesn't have it or I can't seem to locate it in the book.

Check your PM e mail for a wiring diagram.
