Heater Blower Motor

My blower/fan motor has quit running. 1994 Thunderbird, 3.8L engine with Automatic Temperature Control. I have checked the input voltage to the control unit and find it to be around 6-8 volts. I know I need a minimum of 10 volts going into it, but the only item "previous" to the control unit is a 30 amp "in-line" fuse. Anyone have any idea where to find it?

I'm not familiar with your vehicle but I can see that fuse on my wiring diagrams for the '95 Thunderbird - it's a 30 amp inline fuse which feeds into the Blower Motor Speed Controller. This is the location diagram for the '95, which says that it's 'taped to harness' - see grid ref. A5:

Do a search in this forum for blower motor and then look for the thread that starts with This is a good one!. I explained how to test the blower circuit in that thread

found it!! For those interested, the boogar is just where it SHOULD be! The inline fuse is mounted (but rather well hidden) next to the fuse panel under the dash.
