I'll make a decent difference for him right now, but it'll really count when it comes time to run more boost. It's a pretty popular thing to do to the Cobalts. Congrats on the purchase, Jayson.

with my pulley only minimal difference right now, but it will help with the keeping temps cooler for longer. So on track days if im doing back to back runs, the coolant will stay cooler alot longer. Also hoping this will help my top end some. The blower on my car loses efficiency after 7 PSI non intercooled, im at 15-16 PSI right now. Plus if you have ever driving a forced induction car regularily, you will see that incoming air temperatures have a huge impact on the performance of the car. Lower intake temps always equals better performance, and with forced induction it just amplifies it.

I notice that on the jetta and the RX-8 (cause the RX-8 gets alot of heat soak and cooler temps are important to rotaries.) During the "winter time" here in miami the cars tent to run alot better because the temps are lower.

I havent driven my RX-8 in 3 days cause my girl has been carpooling me to work since my job is on her way to work so we can save gas. It's been working since we only have to fill up one car once a week, been doing this for about 2 weeks now, downside is I get to work at 6AM and we dont open the office till 9AM, and I dont get paid over time either cause I am an officer of the corporation. But anyways, its been over 100 here aswell so im glad i havent been driving the 8 cause the heat kills gas milage.

heh. the sentra likes the heat. i dont get it. makes no sense to me at all. car also responds quicker when hot. go figure.

but anyway, i dont think you would want the aem dry flow filter.

i had one on my aem cai for the sentra, and lets just say i needed a new maf. thing works great for a bit, but gets dirty pretty easily.

i personally would return the dry flow, and get an apexi or something else besides the aem dryflow.

Yo Jayson, my girl told me shes been talking to you about modding the car. thanks for helping her out man.
Hey speaking of temps Ive noticed her car runs real hot bro. Like normal driving in traffic the temp goes up like crazy. Does it get worst with the stages?

Don't forget you also live in America's taint.. where it's always hot and humid.:icon16:

I suspect all cars run a bit warmer than usual.

well normal operating temps for this car is like 185F on hot days i can see 190F, and when racing it can get to 200-210 F but is usually comes down pretty quickly.

NP man always willing to help out
