need alternator help fast!

Hi all, I have a friend with an older Ford? alternator on a 2.3 ministock race car, the letters on the back of it are N E S B+, the letters on the voltage regulator are I A S F...can anyone tell me how to wire these up? I tried to hook them up, but seems wrong...Hope you can help. I wanted him to use a one wire chevy, but he is hell bent on using the one he has...so hope you can help to wire it up...
