Rear main warranty

I had the rear main replaced in my 1999 GTP about 2 and a half years ago, but I only drove the car 11,700 miles in that time period and it is leaking again. Does anybody know what kind of warranty GM will provide on it? I plan on calling the dealer tomorrow...let me know if anybody has encountered anything similar.

Usually repairs are covered for 12 months or 12K miles which ever comes first. Some dealers won't warrant this repair so you will have to see what the dealership will do for you as it is up to them.
