Tranny???

Hi all, i have a 1992 oldsmobile model 88 royal, and about a month ago, with no notice it began to start in 2nd gear. to be more specific, when i am stopped and i hit the gas, it starts in 2nd. i just wanted to know if anybody knew about a sensor or if this is a common problem with the valve body in the transmission. Any input would be greatly appreciated.:smokin:

Welcome to AF, could be in default or something in the trans let go, get it scanned on a trans function scanner for a proper diagnosis.
