hatch Back Window 88 Corvette won't pop Up

Have a 88 Hatch Back window...... I press the button on both the Door and inside of the Glove compartment...
Doesn't pop up,,,, I hear a little noise in the back, when it is pressed...

any Ideas on how to proceed with a fix.... tried, to have a little up pressure, with the Fuel door open
with, fingers,,while soembody else Pushed the buttons.. to no avail...

I would guess the solenoid has failed. There is an emergency cable that will open the hatch.

There shud be a small cable, 1/8", or so on the left side of the lock, looking towards the rear. You can get to it from behind the pass/seat. A pair of needle nose pliers will help. You'll probably have to hunt for it. Believe it's between the shade & the trim panel.
