i have a 2005 monte carlo LT does anyone no how to program the remote????

I have been doing some research on this topic.

The things you need to know are:

A. Does your car have a remote keyless entry system previsouly istalled.
B. If so, is it a dealership model, or third party installlation.

If it is a dealership RKE system that you have, programming is quite simple. All you need do is get a replacement transmitter that is programmed for your car. There are many different companies you can get them from. Look on ebay.

If you have a third party system, you must find a transmitter that matches the company and then program it.

If you already have the transmitter, look on the web, it involves a series of turning the car on and off and locking/unlocking the doors to program it.

My Car Has The Dealership Keyless Entry System .

I Already Purchased 2 Replacement Remotes, On E-bay.

All I Need Is Programming Instructions.

Check your owners manual if you have one to see if the instructions are in there. The info I have shows the programming has to be done with a scan tool on your vehicle.
