Fine Scale Modeler Survey - Stand up and talk...
Guido

... or shut up forever!
We always complain that manufacturers never listen to the modelers. Well, magazine Fine Scale Modeler is doing an on-line survey on which new kit you would like to see being brought out by one of them. I hear you say: FSM is not interested in cars. Well that's because apparently they didn't get enough votes for cars in the past.
And we are going to change that now!!
If there is one way of making our voices heard it is here. Voting can be done on this page! (http://corporate.kalmbach.com/qps2/surveys/s_fsm/poll_fsm_1202_w.asp)
So everyone as a flashing lightning to that page and vote for your favourite model!

Honestly, I think that this will not cganhe anything.
Same firm, Kalmbach, publishing "Scale Auto" magazine which is dedicated to model cars, and FSM more oriented to military and ariplanes modeling.
I quit reading FSM before long time when I switched to SA, but and they became to commercial. I'm now subscribed to the "Model Cars Magazine".

I know, but let's just vote massively and scare the hell out of them
Could you post a cover of Model Cars Magazine?

It won't be that bad, is it? Although I agree with some of it, it's not something that makes me freak out. But anyway, if their marketing is that crappy, I guess they would have been out of business a long time ago, no?
Take it easy man, life is beautifull  :D

I won't go on about how much i dislike FSM...well actually i will!:D
What pisses me off about it the most is that they repeat the same articles every year. This is fine if you've only just started buying the mag, but if your a regular buyer/subscriber it just becomes a complete waste of money. This becomes even more annoying in the UK coz we don't have many model mags here and the one's we do have are either cover various subjects i.e Tamiya mag, Scale Models Int and FSM or Aircraft or Military.
But anyway i will suggest a car, which is a toss up between the McLaren F1 or Merc SLR.

Uh oh, Brian's on the warpath! :D
Take two Maranellos and call me in the morning. Yeah, there are a lot of subjects being ignored for all the wrong reasons. Yeah, there are stupid models being made that are a waste of good plastic. Yeah, there are too many kits hitting the market with tiny little wheels inside that look nowhere near as good as the boxart. When it's all said and done, the sad fact is we complain about all this, and yet...we (some of us at least) have far more in our unbuilt stash than we will ever build in our lifetimes! But NOOOOOO, we want MOOOORE! :bloated: :D
