Ok here they are. I have a 2001 Chevy Suburban 2wd 1500
1) my passenger back brake light is not working but the regular light works so I thought replacing the light would fix the problem so when the light was replaced the regular light did not work but the brake light no works. And when o say regular light I mean the light when the brake is not engaged and when I say brake light is when the brake is engaged. So my ? is has this happened to anyone else and what could be the problem?
2) Does anyone know where I can get OEM parts for cheap if not for cheap then at least less then buying the parts from a dealer?

Try a new bulb.
