PRIVATEER

Here's Revells new Merc. Nice kit, went together without any headaches at all. I did not care for the window glass though, it has the molding molded in the clear. The kit comes with very nice METAL exhaust tips, you can see one of them in the pics. I painted the car with Testors laquer, Artesian Turquoise , left in suede. enjoy the pics.

You were fast on this kit.
It looks great, I love the wheels and tires. I will order it as soon as modelexpress will get it.
Turquoise with Yellow flames looks a bit strange, but it's only my opinion. :-S

Superfast build. It looks great! This kit has sooooooooooooooo much potential. Just slap a little decal solvent on the flame decals.

What the F seriously!!!! I've seen none of these in any damn store near me!!! And my stores usually get everything 1st!!! Heh...Looks really fantastic man!! I'm pissed I can't get one yet;) Where did you get yours? I've heard them being found in Walmarts, but all of my surrounding stores have crapped out on models months ago.

Nice to see this kit available and to see itīs pre-costumized. I love the top chop & frenched lights... hope I spoke that correctly
Btw, is it 1/25 or 1/25?

ny2000: Yes, the car in the movie Cobra, with Sly was indeed a '49 Merc. I don't think it had the frenched head, and tail lights, or hood louvers but it was chopped. it also had a WAY different engine.

Nice work, I feel like it needs some window trim though!
