96 corsica won't start when hot

I have a 1996 , 6 cyl. Corsica that has a starting problem when engine hot.
The car starts great cold, however, after driving it for a 20 to 30 mile trip and shutting the engine off, I can not restart it until the engine is cold.

Usually the ignition module, and/or the crank sensor. Very common items to fail. Outside chance it could be a fuel pump that is failing but most likely the first two items I listed. The ignition module sits under the coils and is flat with several wires connected to it. if yours is on the top of your engine it is a lot easier to remove. Remove the entire coil/module assembly (three bolts) and then after removing the coils you can have the module tested (although sometimes a weak one can test "OK" as it is cool. Module runs 80-100 bucks and you might consider replacing the coils too to save trouble down the road. That is your choice though. Not sure how to test the crank sensor. Pick up a Haynes manual to help you on this if possible.
