I placed an order with autopartsgiant.com on June 29th for a water pump, timing belt, engine seals, and a few other common parts for my '99 Metro. After several phone calls and much arguing with their customer service, I finally got my order delivered today. It took more than 5 weeks to get my order. After 3 weeks of waiting I called to cancel my order since it was taking too long. They said it had already shipped and so couldn't be cancelled. It turns out it wasn't shipped until almost 2 weeks later. I've been ordering on the internet since Windows '95 and I've never been lied to and misled like I was with autopartsgiant. I can't be the only one that's been treated like this. Never again.

Do you think that your experience was "a quirk of a bad clerk...?" rhymes!
Should we post your experience on the first IMPORTANT thread at the top of
the Forum and screw them forever?
Did you tell them that you are going to post your crappy experience with them on
this Forum - I would if I were you.
Send them the link to your Thread in an E-Mail to the Manager to prove you are pissed
at them.
See if they give a damn or try to correct the situation.
If they don't respond, then let's add it to the top post about mail order parts.
Has anyone else had any bad experiences with AUTOPARTSGIANT.COM ???

I have two Metros and a Jeep that I sometimes maintain through internet resources. I ran a check on a popular mail order parts company, (name of company + VISA) on Google and found a lot of trouble connected to them from people buying over the internet with a credit card. I ran a similar check with an alternative company and they came up clean. In the end the alternative company provided great service and I'm more than happy with the product.

I ordered some rebuilt fuel injectors from them last summer for my Toyota. The parts took a long time to ship, then they didn't want to give me the refund for the cores. I wouldn't buy from them again.

On the "Sticky Note" (Official Metro Parts Mail Order list) I entered a comment
about Autopartsgiant.com at the top of the big list.
So let it be written, so let it be done....

I'm one of their 400 BBB complaints. They took my money for parts they knew they didn't have and couldn't get. Kept my money for 3 weeks, without notice of parts problem. Made me say some bad words.
