Vacuum Hose Leak?

I think I might have a vacuum hose leak. Many times when I press the clutch in, or take the car out of gear, the RPMs drop down to about 400 and the car feels like it's going to die. I hear a hissing noise, when driving down the road. I thought it was an exhaust leak, but I felt and listened for leaks and I have none. My MAF sensor has been freshly and safely cleaned and my CAI filter is 2 days old.
If it is a hose leak, whats the easiest and quickest way to find it? A friend of mine who used to work in a shop said spray the hoses with WD40 and look for bubbles, but that seems like it would take a lot of WD40 and a lot of time with the 20 different hoses in the bay......
All input is appreciated.

sounds like a leak from your intake, before the maf, if that helps at all. that happened to me, as i instaled my aem cai, and had a small leak. i found it and problem solved.

no carb cleaner is flammable, so the idle would pick when you would over the leak (sort of like you just added a shot of gas). not sure about the diag about the leak before the maf, it would still be metered air. if that was the case you should only hear a noise, not much of a performance issue.
