1999 528 Unlock Problem

In the past few days I have had a problem getting the doors to unlock with the remote and by inserting the key into the drivers door. Yesterday I was able to get the doors to unlock by inserting it into the trunk and unlocking the doors from there. This morning I was unable to get them to unlock from the remote or the keys from the door nor the trunk!!! :banghead:

Basicly it sits in the driveway today taking up space. What is causing this? I replaced the battery last month so it should not be a battery issue.

I have had a problem in the past with teh alarm being too sensitive and constantly going off. I did not know how to adjust the sensitivity so I finally removed the fuse for the audible alarm but I still have a problem with the lights going off flashing because of the system. COuld they eb related?
