need help, after clear coat

after painting one of my models, i did the clear coat. but now the car has a tacky/sticky feeling to it. am i supposed to polish it to get rid of the tackiness? or did i spray too much paint/clear coat? thnx

i guess you could polish it to get a more smooth touch...
