Trying to remove a mangled brake line

Please don't ask how this happened.
Anyway, as you can see the brake line is completely severed. I have a replacement ready, but I can't get the old one out of the brake hose. You can't really see it in the picture, but the nut is stripped to ****. I can still get a pretty good grip on it with vise grips, but I cannot get it to turn at all. WD-40, liquid wrench, etc aren't helping. I'm getting extremely frustrated but I can't give up. I really need to get that damn thing out.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
