96 Ram

My dad has a 1996 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 wit the 5.2. It has 136000 miles on it and uses a little less then a court of oil between oil changes whcih is real good. He put a dual exhaust kit on it from raven. its one into the muffler then 2 out. he gets about 14-15 mpg and its completely stock except for that. is that average? what can we do to it to get a little more power out of it?

I am assuming that is hwy milage. you are referred to milage, then asked about power. which one you want?
I had a Raven system on my truck. I hated it. the resonce in the cab just about drove me crazy. If and when you decide to get rid of it, just go with a no-muffler system. sounds great with out the in-cab noise.

if you want power, replace your air filter with a FIPK K&N system. retune the ECM. Those are the basic's. you can get about 20 extra horses from those mods alone.
