replacing 98 malibu LS headlights

OK call me Malibu challenged but can't for the life of me figure out how to easily change the low beam headlight in my 98 malibu LS without taking the battery out or most of the front end? Anyone have a suggestion?

Remove the black plastic cover directly over the headlight. If you don't have enough room, there are two black plastic tabs sticking up and pointing towards the back of the car on the headlight assembly. Pull or pry them up and the whole mess will come loose.

antbody know how to get the plastic covers on the top off

Two push pins. Pull up on the center of them and they'll come out.
