Hi,
Looking for help locating the low pressure switch for the air conditioning
system. It is typically near the accumulator which is usually back near the firewall but is up near the condenser on this vehicle.
I see a switch/sensor near the top of the radiator but I think it is on the
high pressure side. It also has three wires going to it instead of 2 which
you normally see for the low pressure switch.

Thanks in advance.

you cant find it because it doesnt have one this system uses a thermal expansion valve not an orifice tube so compressor doesnt cycle on and off high pressure switch protects against too high a pressure, what is the problem your having?

ace, Thanks for the information. This is actually my nephew's car
The word I got was that the compressor was not coming on so I suggested
bypassing the low pressure switch. I am not familiar with the epansion valve type of system. What prevents the compressor from coming on if system develops a leak? I thought the purpose of the low pressure switch was to prevent compressor damage in this situation. Thanks
