PLEASE HELP :) is this a good deal???

Hi there, I just turned 17 and I am thinking of buying this for my first car. I will only be using it for about a year before selling it before I head out to university..

1996 MX-3 precidia, interior and body look great

Black on black
17" 10 spoke mags
....240 000 kms

I know that this is a HUGE number, but the car looks so good and its a lot cheaper then other cars that look a lot worse. (price 3900cad)

Now please give me your thoughts on this subject!!! What kind of quetsions should I ask the seller? Do you personally think that the engine, transmittion etc will last me a year?

I will be taking this car to a certified mechanic to inspect it since no one I know, knows anyone abut cars consitering myself ..

PLEASE GIVE ME ANY THOUGHTS, OPINIONS OR SUJESTIONS ETC

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum.

Don't be concerned with looks. Looks isn't what makes the engine and tranny run. Ask the seller what maintenence and repair he or she has put into the car. It will last if its been well maintained so see what your mechanic says.

see where they had it serviced at, and ask if all maintanance was kept up on (ask for records). That is a lot of miles.
