Slim Line Fan Performance

Well i wrote in a couple of months ago about my car overheating on the highway because of the FMIC. Did the fan rewire and that didn't help. So i just ordered two of the 12 inch slim line fans off of slowboys website. They say each one flows near 1200 cfm. Does anybody have any idea how much better this is to the stock fans?
Now since they are reversible, when hooking them up, should i have them pushing or pulling the air? A friend of mine suggested pushing towards the front of the car, but i would think that would just be taking hot air from the engine bay and forcing it through the radiator. I had planned on pulling the air from the radiator into the engine bay. Which one sounds like it would work the best?
Last question, do those 1.3 bar radiator caps work good like the vendors say they do? Can our coolant systems handle 19.5 psi when they come stock at 13 psi? Thanks in advance

Dont make the fans push air through the radiator, not to sure about the other questions. I think people use 16psi caps but not sure about 19.

Kick your friend in the sack :p. Nah, you want them to pull for sure. Another thing you can (and should) do to help your cooling is duct the air better. Put up some plastic or sheet metal between the FMIC and the radiator to help keep the air from flowing out around and you should be good.

Yeah i figured the air should be pulled rather than pushed i just wanted to make sure. As for the ducting, ive been messing around with all of my old stock parts, to try to rig something up. No luck, but im sure ill find something eventually.
