Lexus Rx300 Fixed up

Hi, I just got a 99 lexus rx 300, i want to clear out the front turn signals, but man this lexus forumn is dead, am I sorry i am stuck drivin this car, glad I still got my nissan so i can talk in that forumn =)

i changed my taillights 2 red..and my front ones i couldnt do it its 2 hard..i dunno...where can i get clear side markers???

You can get clear side markers off ebay for the front bumper, and you made your tailights blink red???????? do you have the same red tailight case as me???? I hate orange, I would make the back blink red if i could, tell me how.

sup man..yea...what year is ur car??? i went 2 go buy red bulbs..its pretty bright..and i juss changed the signal lights. The bulbs wouldnt fit..so i kind of scratched a hook on the bulb 2 fit it. hopefully i dont get pulled over..its REAL BRIGHT:flash: anyways...yea i hate orange too. how do i change the headlight signals to white? its so hard! i have the bulbs, but i cant take out the headlights. have u done it?

I drive a 99 Rx300, I want to put subs in it, but my dad would freak. Your color car is fkn cool, I always see that one, but I am over wanting to buy one, I want to get my own car, its my parents, but I drive it because I put less miles on the car then they do, for now I just enjoy the 4x4. How old are you to have a such a pimped out RX

have u changed ur head light signals?? i want to change it...help me out?? oh im 18. im in college. the new rx's look better.yea mine is all silver. it has an aluminum dash. its cool man. get the lexus sc430! haha thats tite! hehe..i would have got that but i got tired of sedans. i drove the new c320 mercades and then i wanted an suv. so i got the last silversport at the dealer!

Uh to change the head lights on the RX you need to kinda take off te bumper I think, there is bolts underneath the head lights, and then you need to open up the case and remove the orange lense inside the blinker thing, because its a piece of plastic.

Personally I would have got a gs300. The rx suspension is to soft when you brake and stuff and chicks dont dig this thing at all. I cant wait till i get a civic or something. All the girls are into those rice cars now

dang r u sure? i hafta go through all that..takin off the bumper n stuff 2 change the orange bulb? but yea..chicks at my school like tha car. hehe. i guess cuz its different. i dunno thanx though. i had trouble changing the signal light. i removed screws on the bumper but i couldnt take out the headlight...problems.. =/

Generally dude, I am tellin you it wont be worth it. I take it you have Real Xenon head lights. once you open up your headlight casing, the seal is never the same and moisture gets in and you get fogged. Then your car goes down in value and ends up like a civic. Will also ruin your lights....but anyhow um the orange is fine and you can get the clear side markers on ebay. All you gotta do for those is open your front fenderwalls to install those.

they paid for the c class and my parents paid for tha RX too..hehe :D but once i get out of college and get a job n stuff.. ill pay them back..haha...but yea...my friend changed his headlights for the cl type s..i kno wut u mean...and there's condensation rite? anyways. yea, i dont know. ill find a way to change it. i like clear lights anyways :bloated: ok laters

Yeah friends GT mustang is doing that right now, and my nissan maxima, I got those custom clear tail lights and i did them my self, but i used a heat gun and it never fogged up inside.

thats my car all cleared out, I drive the RX cuz i put less miles on it and we want to get more cash out of it, plus its my senior year so I want to have a cool car. and every year I drove a different car to school so i had to keep the trend =P.

The 300zx in the backround is my first car, i still drive it somtimes, its fun but slow. I crashed the maxima over summer and have my license suspended from 11-17 to 12-18 so that fkn sucks and the rx is way slow and I like that =) no more racing. All race related shit, it only causes problems

It's not worth it if you just want to change the signal light to clear, because it takes lots of work. There are no bolts under the bumper holding the headlights, however there are 2 bolts inside the fender which is really hard to reach but also you still have to take down the bumper, and to get the orange signal plastic out you have to open the light first, either use oven or blowdryer, I used both when I open it for my projector/HID retrofit project. And now it looks great, i reallyl ike it but took me whole night just changing the healights.
