Bought a Racing Wheel.....now what....confused?!

Hey I went to my Canadian Tire today and bought this wheel,

Mines red and black, what hub do I need for it, they dont sell any at canadian tire, and theres no rubbing thing on the wheel, looks like this

Doesnt bother me if theywork or not......Lance, just to ask, to disable the air bag system, you pull the fuse, and then disconnect battery? And when the new wheel is on, will your Air Bag light stay on in the dash, if it does, any way to turn it off?

How many ppl here has changed there steering wheel? So ..when you get your steering wheel on yhandor, maybe you can post it on here how you did it..better yet take pictures! ;)

So..did you ever figure out how to remove the steering wheel and replace with an aftermarket one? I want to remove mine but I don't know how...help!

Okay its on, but i havent wired the horn. You have to get a wheel puller, Canadian Tire rents them, andyou get all the money back when you take it back. get the puller that screws into the 2 holes after you take the airbag out, I used one at first that clamps around the edges and bent the stock wheel to shit, and didnt move, with the screw one came off instantly. Then take off that plastic ring thing, its black and yellow, its for the airbag, rip it off theres a clip in the middle of it you gotta pry off thats holding it to the steering column, cut the wire that came off you air bag short so it does hang or tuck it somewhere, then what I did, put your hub on, not allthe way, enough so you can pull it off still but still steer, then attach the wheel to the hub, dont put on the column nut yet, take the car down your road, go straight, pull the wheel off, which is attached to the hub, and while the car is coasting straight, put it back on so your wheel is straight, then get back home, take the wheel off the hub, I hammered the hub on, put a board over the hub and hammered to get it on, then put your steering column nut on, and then your wheel back on and enjoy!

Holy moly..is it just me or that sounds hard to do. So why do I have to drive my car while I'm changing everything? lol..I might kill myself in the process.

locked the wheels straight put it al on straight
then the wheel was way off ccenter for some reason. So my way is go really slow, while its going straight take it off and adjust it.

Umm, yeah... there's no need to drive the car like that. That is senseless and not safe. I for one, did not do that while installing mine.

i did instead of puylling it off and on several times trying to get it straight, and my road is a dead end, i went down it at 10 KPH, walking speed, to do it.

Because I had "AF = FTL" as my sig...because after months of having www.401graphics.com as my sig they told me I had to remove it or become a legit vendor.
