Hello again.... This car seems to keep giving me problems . Just replaced the fuel pump and all the wires in the trunk, alt replaced twice and starter replaced twice. Now every other time I try to start it doesnt want to start when it makes a clicking noise. I checked the fuse box under the hood by the batt. and the fuse for the alt was blown (30amp) replaced it. Had to hit the starter after to get her started. Everything was good for about a week and now the same thing happened! Can anyone tell me why this fuse keeps blowing and or what I can do to correct the problem??????:banghead:

Not certain if this year has a Solenoid Started Switch. If so, it is on the fender well (either side) and has the Pos Batt cable and other fuseable links to it and a lead to the Starter. They are known for going bad and just giving you a click. I know the GM's from the 70' and 80's have them but not sure about '92. MB
P.S. Is the Battery good? Make sure you don't have any weak cells!!

I took it to have the alt, starter and batt checked today and they said batt is fine and the starter is testing bad. Every time I take it back to were the starter was put in they say the starter and Solenoid are fine. I am thinking it could be a wire grounding out somewhere? But I'm no mechanice!

Have you taken the car to a Ford/Merc Dealership? Unless you catch a real bad one they will usually find what "mom and pop" places do not. MB
