Ok now my second post in 1 day lol, I have a 1999 dodge Ram 1500 5.2 and one of the rear brake lines broke on my wife and master cyclinder went dry, so I replaced the lines front to back and also new drums, shoe's and wheel cyclinders. The problem I'm having. I am not getting any fluid to the rear now.
I do see the brass valve on the proportioning valve going in and out I assume it is the proportioning valve it is located on the driver side fenderwell and it is the one closer to the front of the truck, there also is another valve bigger in size between this one and the firewall is this for the ABS? I know this is probably a stupid question but I beleive If you don't ask you don't recieve. I know being that autobody is my thing that I should probably stick with doing that, but I like to work on my own stuff and learn in the process. If any of you could help I thank You in advance. I did surf the forums and wasn't able to find anything on no fluid to the rear. I have a very stiff pedal and no lights are on. Thank Gentlemen.

I had this happen to me years ago with an 82 chevy that I used to have. there should be a check valve someplace(on the chevy, it was built into the proportioning valve) that closes off fluid flow when a line breaks.
in order to get fluid to flow to the rear again, the valve needs to be reset. I'm not sure how it is on the dodges, but on the chevy, there was a little rubber cap on the prop. valve, I just had to remove the cap, and press a little button to reset the valve and get fluid to the rear again.
