I want to find out first of all if there is any traction control on my CV. and second of all if I can turn it OFF. there is no switch in the glove box area, but there are some wires that are electrical taped together begind a hole in the left side of the glove box. I'm prety sure there's TC because I cant spin the tires much unless its wet.

i dont think that the 2000 yr offered traction control for the p71s
atleast all the ones ive seen havent had it including mine
the 2000s where and are Dogs when it came to performance idk y but ford gave them some really crappy computer programing.
if your unable to turn the tires over when tryin to do a brake burn then you may want to look at the engine for signs of wear

been looking closer at the tired, let my wife do a brake burn, only one tire moves. wierd thing is, I can get the tires to chirp when it shifts from 1-2, but it still only does one tire from a stand still, I can't believe they didn't put a locking dif on this thing. what can I do to improve the computer tuning on this thing without too much trouble. (I don't want to damage anything)

If the car has ABS then much more then likey it has traction control. If this is the case a locking dif make no sense...........
