hi there, i have chosen not to purchase the firebird i posted on here a couple weeks ago, insted i'm interested in this camaro. Its a 1980 z28 with a 350. It has an automatic transmission. The car is in excellent shape. The thing that really caught my eyes was that it'sthe original owner and it only has 53 000 KM'S on it. Theyre asking 9300 CAN but i think i could probly get it for 9. I think this is a bit too much for the car but what do you guys think?

I have serious doubts about the mileage.
For a few years, most Canadian cars had 5 digit odometers in km's.
This means that they would roll over to 00000 after only about 63,000 miles. This is relatively low mileage. So its difficult to tell if tis 53k km, 153k or 253k.
Only trust that mileage if the owner has many repair/service invoices with dates and mileage readings. Otherwise, don;t believe it, no matter what the owner says.
$9k will buy you a really good Camaro. Make sure its the right one. Check for rust or poor rust repairs, especially around the rear axle, floor pan and rear spring mounts.
