Aurora (GM) Door Remotes - Operate Mult Vehicles?

I have two Aurora's and they both have the same model remotes. My owners manual says the same controller can control more than one vehicle. The owners manual says to to see the dealer! I'd prefer to do it without paying the dealer's fees.
