shimmy when i start to accelerate

my 96 xj started to develop a slight shimmy when i start off from stop you can feel it at around 5 mph then it quits until i get to 55 then well its back to the shmmy( been dealing with that forever now:banghead:) So what could cause a shimmy at that early stage of acceleration? im leaving for vacation next wk and want my rig ready for the long haul:runaround:

Try inspecting and rotating the tires first
Look for loose track bar end at the frame and then the axle end.
Look for loose tie rod ends
Start with those then inspect the ball joints
