1992 fithave anti lock breake problem

i can drive the car for about 15km the the anti lock light comes on and after that thers lotsa peddle but no breaks? can any1 help me out i heard it could b the pump i live in scarborough if any 1 knows anybody please let me no 3.8 liter fwd
