idk, i spent 8700 for a car r/t tt 92 with 58910miles on it. mine has a few problems. so make sure u listen to the engine both at speed and idle. the, make sure everything works. flip on and off every single switch, use the cruise control, if so equiped.
o and if i doesnt have cracked dash vents then count yourself lucky

if that's how many miles are on the entire thing(body, engine, tranny) i think you can do better on a price. a lot of the ones that i'm looking at right now have the engine or transmission rebuilt, and are still going for that price.
and, with that type of milage, you'll be looking at doing the 60k mile tune up here soon. i mean, it may have been done already, but i actually doubt it

what is a reasonable price. i can do tune ups myself, i got a shop, so thast nota problem, actually looking foward to it. whats a good price to sell mine, i dont wanna sound lika dick but i wanna get the most outta my car (money wise) i just put a sweet kenwood system in it, its got full exaust, paints great, black 17s, a lot of miles but runs like new. is 5 - 6k too much, cuz i honestly think i can get that.

Yes that's too much. How much is a lot of miles? Mod's don't add value. I would think if it's in great shape and around 100k mi. you could get around 4k at most.

first leaons in selling a car: a car is worth what the buyer pays for it. if u get 50g, then it's worth 50g. obviously this is nt that kinda case
if u dnt mind doing work, i would say ask him wwat the lowest he would go with, offer 200 less, and see wat he says. if they've been attempting to sell it for a while, he may agree to it. if not bargin

As has been said, the car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. 8K seems a bit high, but if it is in MINT shape, its not an unreasonable asking price (or at least a place to start from). I'm of the opinion that I'd offer about five thousand and go from there.

Hmm word to the wise, thats the kinda car i would def. take to a trusted mechanic to get checked out, then i would decide how much I am willing to pay for that car, you never want to pay 7 grand for a lemon, then end up with 5 grand worth of work still needed...

yea, true that. u think the guy will be cool with me taking it out to a mechanic?

Listen, from this point on till you die, if the person you are buying any car from, civic, 3000GT, pinto, gallardo doesnt matter, anyone is a hesitant to let you take the car to a mechanic, especially if you bring him with or something like that, then that car definitely is going to bite you in the ass, be careful....

it just depends on how it was driven. my car has 62k on it, but isnt even running right now, it has a shit load of problems. every car is different. just the engine and trans.
nd yea bring it to a trusted mech

Check the brakes, see how the clutch is hopefully no grinding, no gears popping out, make sure there is no spilled fluids in the engine bay, check all fluids, tire thread, check all electical a/c headlights, interior lights, fogs, look for a check engine light or any warning light. Make sure all windows locks alarm is in working condition. Listen to the motor closely to hear any knocking or ticking, press the pedal to make sure turbos spool up fine. Other than that I would just let the mechanic see the car to go a little bit more in depth, but this is what i can think of to do on the top of my head, question anything and everything the person your buying from, i mean pick his brains out to make sure you know everything there is needed to know about the car.

i think you could easily get 5 maybe 6 for depending on the condition of it, i sold my sl about 3 weeks ago with 161k miles and leaking valve seals and i got 4500 for it...
