i took this out cruisin, and bagged me a 5 series 98 body style bmw. i only have a cold air and a srt4 catback system, dont know how fast they are but thats 1 more for the books

I didn't know an SRT-4 cat back would fit on an older neon, could be wrong. Love the hood too, is that the "cowl induction" for the cold air kit?

And that beat a 5 series BMW? Was it's clutch slipping? Did the driver miss a few gears? Was there oil in its lane and it lost traction? Did you fly by it doing about 90 with the 4 ways on and the driver decided to not waste its time or gas??

I seriously don't think an early neon with CAI and exhaust will beat a 5 series BMW on it's worst day. I may be wrong, if I am it's just because i'm tired and having a hard time believing this.

That bish is slammeeddddd......I take it your neon is a 5-spd, those little things can be made decently quick, a member on here, 209_srt4 had a neon like yours and hit 13s all motor. There's also a local guy in my area that does low 13s/12s with one, but i think he's spraying.

Nice car, and good car to start out, but there's one thing I will get at you though, you have honda styling on a domestic.

damn john... haven't posted in i dunno like a couple years... and the love you're getting is UNBELIEVABLE. dont worry though 1320neon and i raced a couple weeks ago and it was a DEAD even race... its all about who gets the jump off the line so i can vouch for how fast or not fast his car is. the fastest time i've pulled at a track was 15.5 at 95 so he's right in that range.

I think the wheels could be changed but if that is your thing then I guess so be it. Not a bad starter car and it doesn't really look like you have taken it and riced it out. I also like the fact you just took criticism and did not flame back at others. To me, that shows a lot of character.

wow news to me...i can see it though, seeing as they weigh nothing to begin with, and then reduce the weight even more, add some more air/fuel. What do they run stock? and what was your trap?

i pull with a sohc 95 16.something in the quater. but that's not at a track, that's a back road with a guy and a stop watch at the other end. btw that's stock with 1/4 tank of gas.
i do have to admit, get rid of that luggage rack. honostly that's the first neon i've ever seen with one. u dont have a spoiler. could b worse, one of those metal bought it at wal mart one's.

that was never gonna happen. i own a neon, it's not a car worth doing nething with. a stock 2dr neon is nice and all, but screwing with it is stupid. unless u do a damn good job with it. u know stock apperance but nice wheels, a lil engine work(that helps performance) new suspension to help handling, u know more of a track car, than a car that sticks out an erection

wrong, the acr is limited, all dohc were limited to 13o, tho i may b wrong with the acr, i know it had a limiter. dodge isnt completely retarded, they did design the body of the stealth and helped with the viper
