Headlights No Workie! Help

Kay so i am leaving my girls house at night, get in start it up and my headlights don't come on! Corners are functioning, as well as blinkers operating normally. The high beams ARE working but not the low beams. The low beams as well as highbeams each have a fuse ( 4 total), all four are fine, none are blown. I DO have a Tach wired into my fuse box for lighting, but that operates off the parking lamps fuse. I did see a brown wire down there, stripped end sticking out, can't see where it is from and i don't remember it being there before. Possibly could have been pulled out, but shouldn't one wire out, mean ONE light doesn't work? The Car is a '91 Civic Hatch, 1.5L. Anyone with a Good wiring diagram around the fuse box could help, or anyone who has had this problem, HELL anyone with an idea. Wednesday is my day off, i need ta get it fixed tomorrow. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like the relay is working fine to switch from low to high, and the relay to give the lights power at all as well. Have you though about putting a tester to the sockets. it could be that they just both died? unlikely but ive had it happen on other vehicles, 2 in fact... Try that first before monkeying with the wiring

kay, so it turns out....both bulbs ARE blown. Now i ask, this is a rare occurance? And both these bulbs just happen to be the expensive Silvania Silverstars that are only prolly 8 months old. Could something have caused this, or is this just a coincidence? Thanks

You won't know for sure unless it happens again. If it makes you feel better the fuses would likely blow if there was a short somewhere
