Hey everyone,
This started happening for past few weeks now. I own a 1998 4.0 xlt, 150K miles. When teh car is on Park position, the car starts only 2/10 times or so, so most of the time i have to put it to Neutral to start it. This sounds like some sensor went bad. I also noticed that when you shift from park to other gears, the needle is not directly over the gear you are on now, seems a little loose there. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Sounds like the Digital Transmission Range sensor may be out of adjustment or begining to fail.
