I have not posted here in a very long time but this is a special occasion. I am selling my 1966 mustang and decided to take it out for one more night. Last night coming home from work in my parents minivan hehe and was surrounded by ricers. This got my blood pumping so decided it was time for one last night on the town for the stang. As soon as I got home went strait to to my car and left for a night out, but first the gas station for some 93 octane.
I did not switch over to my weekend tires no time for that so just decided to try to get a couple runs with the stock goodyears. First stop of the night was walmart did not even have to park before a 2000 model mustang gt started following me. Pulled out and gave it some gas to let him know what I wanted. Well I guess he had never read into have to race he just slams on the throttle and drives away instead of lining up so I chase him and catch back up with no problem and try to get next to him again, but alas he just keeps petaling it instead of lining up. Well he was no funso I make a u turn and head back to wally world to see what else I could get. On my way back a new corvette pulls up next to me, he did not want to race instead we just messed around a bit before turning into wallyworld. But to my dismay no one is there so I leave towards the mall. Just when I thought all hope was lost. I honda s2000 pulls up to a stop light with me. Light turns green I launch it he does nothing lol. Turned out he was not ready yet so at the next light we line up again this time he is ready. I can here his engine holding a steady rev so I know he is going all out. Light turns green I mat it cars goes nowhere fast then the stall kicks in and throws me back what a feeling I love it burned out till 60mph haha goodyear tires. Put about 2-3 bus lengths on him and shut it down at 90mph he was not going anywhere fast. Then we line up for a roll at about 50mph this is his cars territory but I go for it anyways. I yell at hime to honk 3 times since my horn was not hooked up. No go he just mats it instead gets a car on me before I pedal down. Well traffic was up ahead and I was not reeling him in fast enough so I just shut it down.
Well thats the end of my long story hope enjoyed my new car is gonna be a cobalt ss/sc ford to chevy lol. Good luck to all of you and stay safe!

nice kill, i hate people who act like they want to race but all they do is pedal it before you can line up.
Nice pickup on the Cobalt SS Supercharged, its a nice car.

289 small block, holly 4 barrel, edelbrock ported intake, bored .30, forged internals with mild cam. C4 greendot auto tranny with 2600 stall strait piped with flowmaster super 40 exhaust. Just a quick list does not cover stuff like the new gas tank interior kit and other things.
Ps. when I rev it its not just the engine that moves around the whole car bucks.

Nice run, and your Mustang sounds like an awesome car. As for the motor mounts, he was talking about the mounts for the Cobalt. The factory mounts are garbage. I suggest you get some poly motor/tranny mounts within a month or two of buying the car. Have fun with the Cobalt.
