Cold Air Intake...slight problem!

Hey guys,
(2001 Grand Prix SE)
Just wanted to know how i can install a cold air intake into my car since the ECU is right underneath the air filter in that box, and if it is actualy the ECU thats in there. also is there a special way to take the top part of the box off and leave the ECU in the bottom part?

Yes the PCM module aka ECU is located in the airbox assembly. Just remove the PCM from the airbox. You will be limited as to how much you can move it by the wiring harness. For CAI/FWI installs it has to be done anyways. Just properly secure it or get a CAI/FWI which has a mounting location or tray for the PCM. I have a Trasher CAI installed.
