Hi,have a 81 Z-28 that quit on the road the other day.All indications its getting fuel.How do i test the Ignition coil and module?Car doesnt have a computer and has a 350 in it.thanks:banghead:

Parts store should have a spark tester. It connects between the spark plug and the plug wire, flashes if you have spark. Hei ignition?

Coil can be tested with an ohm meter. The module has to be tested with special equiptment, and make sure it is tested several times. If it comes up bad, replace with Ac/Delco, the extra cost is well worth it!

Thanks for all the input! I have bought a ignition tester and will try get this thing runningthis weekend.Car has a Crane high energy coil installed years ago,hopefully this is the problem.Thanks again.

Its alive!Problem was the wires feeding the super coil.Reattached wires to coil and it started right up.thanks again for the ideas.:lol:
