hi i messaged earlier in a thread problems about fuel pressure

but i took the first 3 plugs out and turn over and the fuel is just pouring out of it when turning over

so the injectors i take it are staying open to long? is this proble the Computer? or what could it mean that the cylinder chambers are pumping out the gas so the engine wont start due to fluiding

Check pcm for trouble codes
Sounds like coolant temp sensor unpluged or bad(just a guess)

id like to know if its the Computer or the Regulator, like the regulator is holding Pressure only after i turn over the engine but if i were to just turn key to contact and then turn key off it holds if i turn to contact and let pump shut it self off goes to 0

so i not sure what it is, plus my catalyic verter is full of gas as there is a hole in it and under my car is the raw gas sitting in the catalyic

so hopefully someone has the answer to it

well there is no error codes to read since no service light came on

why would the coolant sensor matter? i took the plenium off and turned over to the engine it blew out more gas and backfired and caught fire apparently thats a good thing my friend said lol

so we put plenium back on and crap and it started up ok i still have i guess gas in the oil sinceit sliped past the oil rings as its washed off the cylinder walls so when i get it home i gonna change oil but i think it will happen again the engine filling with gas, so what it be the computer the map sensor the pressure regulator?

The coolant temp sensor is one of the computer inputs(major input for fuel metering)
ie. when the engine is cold it requires more fuel, when it is at operating
temp. it requires less fuel(just like a carburated engine has a choke)
If it is unpluged(or bad w/open circuit) the computer thinks it is 34f below!

Just put a 3.1 in a Z24, had multipal problems, non working MAP, bad fuel pressure reg. bad cold start sensor, bad IAT sensor, and NONE of those did anything like you are describing. If i were to guess? fuel pressure regulator or ECM. (fuel press. reg. can go bad in different ways, well... make car do diff. things) sounds more like injectors are not shutting off, a ECM problem

They are Multec injectors, so they are ALWAYS suspect.

Your description of the symptoms sounds very similar to the fairly common situation caused by a shorting injector. One low resistance injector coil will bypass the switching transistor in the ECM and constantly operate the remaining injectors.

Remove all the injector electrical connectors and measure solenoid coil resistances. Any injectors under 11 ohms cold are suspect. Any injectors under 10 ohm cold are paperweights. If you have one injector with solenoid resistance significantly lower than the rest, plug in the electrical connectors on all the injectors EXCEPT the low resistance one, and start the engine. Obviously, it will misfire on that one cylinder, but it will run on the remaining five without flooding.

oh ok ill try that so what should the ohms be for a working injector
ill try that later today when i get my car home if i get it home today

i live an hour away and hopefully i can drive it from here to there without it stalling
