94 Altima Switch Box

I'm trying to mount a switch box with a couple switches & a 12 volt accessory plug in it. Its going to be mounted in a 94 Altima, for I can run my LED dash light & highbeam headlight wig wags (I'm a volunteer). I can not seem to find a place to mount it though without being in the way, other than on the dash, but don't want to do that as its made of hard plastic & I'm afraid the sun light would cause the box to melt. Any idea's of where I can install it for its easy to reach, but out of the way for both myself & any passanger I may have, but also where the switches won't accidently be flipped on?
