the top speed is limited by gear rotation and not by engine power.
with the gear rotation from factory the top speed is +180mph.

you can those this engines:

- Chevrolet small block V8:
5.7 litre, 350 bhp
5.7 litre, 400 bhp
6.3 litre, 511 bhp
- Ford Quad-cam V8:
4.4 litre, 300 bhp
4.4. litre, 400 bhp

i found this in my favorites...

The predessesor of that car beat a Pagani Zonda C12 in a circuit race by 1 second, and it was wet on the day for the XTR! And it is road legal. :)

Forget about taking on a Zonda, this thing took a shot at the McLaren F1, which holds the world record for 0-100-0mph. It lost out by 2 tenths of a second!

Stealth B6: 0-100 (6.85s) reaction time (0.40s) Overall 0-100-0: 11.73s
McLaren F1: 0-100-0: 11.50s

I forgot to mention, these figures were achieved when the Stealth was still in its development stage, so the finished product might well be faster than a McLaren F1, excluding top speed

I thought so, but i dont think its that expensive! It costs around £90,000, which is about half as much as your figures say

well it is expensive 90000$ = 135000€ i donßt think thaqt it´ll be enough

yes, but a Zonda is very expensive. I want one. That would be very nice, bieng able to put a zonda next to my Jaguar.

for me these rally races are quite dangerous of course it is sensational how these drivers can handle the cars... or not? you often see quite hard accidents on ralleys.

What a great site! Hmm, too bad i wont be at a house with high speed for 2 more weeks, but it will be worth it!

Back to the stealth; it is essentially a race car for the road, a la Ultima GTR. I like the stealth more, though. Once again, light weight is the aim of the game, and dedication to speed. By that, I mean it makes no marketing comprimeses (ever notice how almost all cars upshift just past 60mph? They would be faster overall if they didnt, just not faster to 60, which is what markets a car).

If you upshift (out of 2nd/3rd) just past 60, it doesnt mean youve maximised the 0-60 sprint for sure. If you've let the car rev to the line (or just before it), as it seems youre implying, you will have lost some acceleration and missed the ideal gearchange point.

Your point does generally stand up though :)
